Baltimore, MD (02/08/2011) - The
Nuclear Cowboyz kicked off their 2011 tour schedule
in Baltimore, Maryland over the weekend and put
on a spectacular show with plenty of pyrotechnics,
choreography and of course, incredible high-flying
freestyle tricks performed by the top FMX riders
in the world.
The 2011 Nuclear Cowboyz tour continues with
a rivalry between the Metal Mulisha and Soldiers
of Havoc tribes in a post-apocalyptic setting
that includes amazing synchronized competitions
between the two groups. And while 80% of the show
is focused on the bikes, there are also segments
that feature incredible performances by trials
riders Geoff Aaron and Keith Whineland and quad
freestyle by Derek Guetter and Colten Moore.

Put on by Feld Productions, and directed by 1986
AMA Motocross 125 champion Micky Dymond, the Nuclear
Cowboyz 2011 show was very well put together with
good music, awesome choreography and dancing,
performed by the Nuclear Cowgirlz, that really
complimented the freestyle competition. Not to
take away from any other freestyle competitions,
but the Nuclear Cowboyz show is much more entertaining
to watch than a bunch of guys just hitting ramps
and offers a more engaging element than the usual
freestyle show that never had a dull moment and
kept the audience captive for the entirety of
the performances.

The Nuclear Cowboyz Tour is more
than just a bunch of crazy guys hitting
freestyle ramps on dirtbikes & ATVs.
The show is filled with good music, pyrotechnics
& dancing by the Nuclear Cowgirlz that
make for an excellent show that never has
a dull moment. |

Although the performances are well rehearsed,
the riders are still not without risk as Derek
Guetter found out last year when he crashed during
a practice before one of their shows at the end
of the tour, breaking his leg after things went
south during a back flip practice run. “It’s
not without its risks, but this is what we love
to do and I can’t imagine doing anything
else right now,” said Guetter, who pulled
off a fantastic run, along with Colten Moore for
their opening weekend.
