Live Oak, FL (3/19/2010) - The 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Nationals race season has been a season of change for many riders. With factories cutting back or dropping their race programs altogether, many riders have been left out in the cold, but Jeremy Lawson is one of the lucky ones to have found backing by seemingly going back to his roots and reforming an old alliance with Walsh Race Craft.

“We’re really excited to be working with Jeremy again. He has a lot of potential as a racer and we feel that this will be a great season for him,” said Mike Walsh.

In 2005, at High Point, Jeremy Lawson made his pro AMA ATV Motocross racing debut aboard a Suzuki LTZ400. In 2006, Lawson would return to the series aboard a Honda TRX450R backed by Walsh Race Craft and found himself on the podium a total of six times for that season. 2007 would be Lawson’s most successful season as he would visit the podium an astonishing ten times and claim second overall at season’s end.

The 2008 season marked a turning point in Lawson’s career as he landed his first factory ride with Can-Am and finish fifth in the points chase. Lawson would finish out another season with Can-Am for 2009, but with his contract ending and the manufacturing giant cutting back due to economic reasons, Lawson chose to check out what other options were available to him and decided to discuss the possibility of support for 2010 with Mike Walsh, as his most successful seasons to date had been while racing for Walsh Race Craft.
