High Lifter 4x4 Mud Riding Outfitter

High Lifter Products Tour
::Continued::

As an experienced engineer through his work at General Motors and Louisiana Tech University engineering graduate, Smith's knowledge as well as his ability to supervise the in house production of the business, has made him an asset to the thriving business.

Highlifter Brian Smith
Brian Smith left his job at GM to work with his brother and father at High Lifter

In 2008 when the recession hit America hard, the General Motors plant that Brian was working at was scheduled to shut down. When his brother Scott invited him to join himself and their father at High Lifter, it didn't take long for Brian to accept the offer.

"After a little soul searching, I made the decision to come to High Lifter and walk away from General Motors and never looked back, it's been four and a half years. It's been a lot of fun and there has been a lot of really neat opportunities," Brian Smith said about his transition from GM to High Lifter.

High Lifter 3D Scanner & Printer
High Lifter uses state-of-the-art 3D scanner & printers to design their parts to guarantee a perfect OEM fit
Touring the building with Brian, he educated us on some of their high tech machines, new designs and product, and how High Lifter has gained so much success over the past few years. One of their newer and most advanced machines they recently acquired is their 3D printer and scanner. As technology has advanced and become somewhat more affordable, the crew at High Lifter has become very dependent on this 3D scanner and printer.

This specific piece of equipment scans vehicles for accurate connection points. Brian Smith gave us more detailed insight on this amazing machine. "We take our 3D scanner and then we disassemble the product and scan all the individual pieces. We then reassemble it and scan the product again in the assembled state. Then we combine all these scans so when we are ready to design it, we can actually start with the real geometry from the bearing attach points to where the shock and the stabilizer bar attaches. Everything is the factory geometry and that's our starting point for us when we do our designs," Smith said about the important machine.

High Lifter Trailing Arms
High Lifter Can-Am Outlander & Renegade Trailing arms welded up and ready to coat

A newly designed product that High Lifter has designed is a trailing arm for the Can-am Outlander. Being introduced to the market within the past few weeks, the trailing arm is also compatible with the Can-am Renegade ATV as well. By taking all the factory geometry and stretching the rear tires back two inches, the High Lifter trailing arm allows users to put on a larger tire and still be able to use the factory axles, bearings, and bushings. The ability to be used with factory components is a key factor in making the High Lifter trailing arm more affordable. While most of the competitors require you to change the parts to aftermarket components to be compatible with a trailing arm, High Lifter's less costly design is financially beneficial to ATV Mud Racing enthusiasts.

High Lifter Snorkles
High Lifter makes an extensive line of snorkels for just about every machine

Having always produced and sold snorkels, the company has developed and manufactured their own line of High Lifter snorkels in the past year. While they develop the entire kit including custom brackets, the snorkel comes with an easy instruction and installation packet that allows the average user to build their aftermarket snorkel without excessive difficulty.

High Lifter Outlaw Tires
High Lifter Outlaw tires are some of the largest & most popular tires for mud riding

Tire sales is another important department at High Lifter. With several different manufacturers to choose from, the High Lifter Outlaws have become a must have among ATV / SxS Mud Racing enthusiasts. As a popular seller, the all-new 32.5 inch High Lifter Outlaw tire has been sold out more than two months before production can fill the orders.
