The 2012 Outlander Line is equipped with Can-Am's LinQ System cargo racks that make it easy to add accessories	The Outlander 800R & 1000 are not only fast but they can haul quite a bit of load with its 2" receiver

Both the Outlander 800R and 1000 have a 1,300 pound towing capacity and are equipped with larger fuel tanks with 25 percent more capacity for longer rides. The Outlanders also feature new high-strength racks with an anti-skid surface to make securing items easier, and a huge water resistant 5.7 gallon rear storage box.

The Outlander family has included a new XT package for both models that have Tri-mode DPS that allows riders to choose the amount of steering they want for various terrain and conditions. The Visco-Lok front differential comes standard with the XT package as well as disc brakes and 26-inch Carlisle ACT Radial tires mounted on new 12-inch cast aluminum wheels.

The XT package comes with a 3,000 pound Warn winch and heavy duty front and rear bumpers. The Outlander family comes in black or signature yellow, but customers also have the option of Pure Magnesium painted plastics, that is not only eye catching, but also offers improved scratch resistance. The Commander line of UTV’s that has become increasingly popular and boasts incredible handling, has introduced a new Commander 1000 Limited for 2012 that features several upgrades from the standard packages that turns a standard UTV into a luxury model.

Introduced as a “luxury touring” side-by-side, the Can-Am Commander 1000 Limited is powered by the Rotax 976cc V-twin engine that puts out 85 horse power and is fed by a 54mmBosch throttle body and two VDO Seimens fuel injectors. The Intelligent Throttle Control system detects unwanted bounce and filters the input for smooth throttle control even at low speeds.

Can-Am Commander LTD 1000 comes with trick Fox Shox air controlled suspension

One of the most impressive features of the Commander 1000 Limited, is the air controlled suspension system with Fox Racing Shox. The Air Control Suspension has six pre-set, custom suspension levels to tune the high-pressure gas shocks for load hauling and trail conditions. The driver selects the desired amount of preload pressure (1 through 6) via the LCD display and gauge. An air hose that attaches to the compressor is included so you can add air to tires during a trail ride as well.

A double A-arm front suspension design features up front dive-control geometry, which works to eliminate diving under heavy braking and rough terrain. By controlling vehicle dive, the Can-Am Commander handling is more precise in all situations and terrain types. At the rear, the trailing arm design provides excellent control and stability, especially in rough terrain by eliminating scrub, providing a stable and comfortable ride.
