- Red Bull / Polaris RZR’s Seth Quintero began
his warm up for the Mint 400 during the season
opening Parker 250 Best in the Desert Race.
Quintero was running in the UTV Production
1000 class during the short course race held
on the first of two days of competition.

Quintero rolled out his UTVUnderground 2017
WORCS Polaris RZR stock UTV for the class.
Though he was a little down on power for the
class, he ran hard and learned a lot.
“It was good to get some seat time and come
out and have some fun,” said Quintero. “I
ran my 2017 WORCS Stock car. I tried to give
them a run for their money. They were a little
faster down the straights..’ We tried to go
for the win, but we couldn’t quite get it.”
Im very proud of my finish. From starting
dead last to finishing 5th in class and 7th
overall!
Quintero was pleased with his BFGoodrich
Tires and his Walker Evans Suspension. With
a lot of sharp rocks and tight turns on the
short course, they gave him the confidence
to run fast.
“My BFGoodrich Tires ran great today,” said
Quintero. “There are a lot of sharp rocks
out there, and the tires really held up well.
They allowed me to go into the corners with
confidence. The Walker Evans Suspension worked
great. I could flow through all the bumps
with ease.”

Quintero is currently in the process of building
a brand new 2018 Polaris RZR to compete in
the Mint 400. Though he will start toward
the back of the field, anything can happen
in that race, and he’s ready for a strong
showing.
“My debut with the car will be the Mint 400
where we’re going to try to give them a run
for their money,” said Quintero. “We’ll be
starting at the back because we don’t have
any points, but we’ll see what happens.”
Quintero will make his Mint 400 debut when
the race bows March 8-11 in Las Vegas.
