Las Vegas, NV (3/23/2017) - Jennifer Broughton continued her tear through the WORCS SXS Womens Class, winning both races during the doubleheader weekend in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Broughton has won every race since switching to Curtis Sparks engines. She also ran Maxxis Tires on her Polaris RZR for the first time this weekend.

In Saturday’s race, Broughton took the lead at the start and ran away with the event. On Sunday, Broughton was again the woman to beat as she took the lead at the start and then held off Claudia Romo to take the victory.

“I had good mojo coming into the race after winning Taft,” said Broughton. “I had more confidence and went out and won on Saturday. On Sunday, I had the determination to do it again. This is really my favorite track on the circuit.

“Saturday, I was second off of the start, took the lead and I held my own,” added Broughton. “On Sunday, Claudia Romo and I battled. It’s always fun to race with the Romos.”

Broughton has remained unbeaten since she switched to Curtis Sparks engines prior to the Taft round. She also welcomed Maxxis Tires to her team at Lake Havasu. Sparks and Maxxis combined with Tireblocks and PEP Suspension to give Broughton her winning combination.

“The Sparks engine has changed everything,” said Broughton. “We brought in Maxxis Tires this weekend. I got out front on both starts and drove my own race.”

The two wins, combined with her previous victory and podium give her an 11-point lead in the Women Class Championship chase.

Broughton will head next to her hometown race at The Orleans in Las Vegas March 31-April 2.
