EnerSys ODYSSEY Batteries to Sponsor Terracross Racing

Minneapolis, MN (6/17/2016) - Terracross Championship announces an exciting partnership for the 2016 season with EnerSys®(NYSE:ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications and the manufacturer of ODYSSEY® batteries.

ODYSSEY Batteries will power all the Polaris RZR TURBOs in the 2016 Terracross TURBO RZR Class

ODYSSEY® batteries will field a driver in the Polaris®RZR Turbo Class for the 2016 season.  EnerSys® will also provide ODYSSEY® batteries to all vehicles entered in the 2016 Terracross Turbo RZR class.  Terracross offers dynamic competition through its athletes who come from all different disciplines of racing and action sports bringing a variety of entertainment suited for spectators of all ages to enjoy.

Terracross attracts high profile athletes, action sports stars, sports stars and celebrities offering them the opportunity to compete in equally equipped vehicles which allows for talent to determine the winner. In addition to the Pro Classes, Terracross features a Women’s Class, a Celebrity X Class and a Military Veterans/Hero Adaptive Class which sees Adaptive athletes/soldiers competing against one another in specially modified Polaris® RZR’s. The 2016 season is set to kick off at the beginning of September in the Midwest.  Then will head east in late September and will wrap the season on the west coast in late October.  The exact schedule to be announced soon.
