Las Vegas, NV (4/2/2015)
– Art Works / Goldspeed Tires’ Ty Sanders
braved the rough conditions at the Crazy Horse
WORCS in Lake Havasu, AZ and claimed top ten
finishes in both the Pro-am ATV and Production
A classes at round four of the 2015 WORCS series.
Lake Havasu is known for its tough conditions,
but for round four of the WORCS series, it
was particularly hot and rugged, and Ty Sanders
unknowing was also dealing with gall bladder
stones, which added to the challenge.

In the Pro-am class, Sanders was in second
off the start was charging hard, but a crash
the day before started to take a toll on him.
“I had a really good start and I near the
front, but I started locking up from the get-off
I had the day before and I dropped back,”
explained Sanders.
Sanders fell back to tenth place, but a final
push gave him two more positions for an eighth
place finish. “It was a rough day, and it
was hot, but it all worked out. We are testing
some new Goldspeed tires and they bit like
no other tires I have ever used and I was
really happy with them. They helped a lot
out there today,” said Sanders, who is currently
fifth in series points.

During the Production A class race, Sanders
had a good start in the number two spot. Sanders
held that position for two laps, but them
he came into a corner too hot and high-sided
the berm. “That put me back down to about
fifth, but I got back up and kept going. Then
it happened again in the same corner on the
next lap. It took a while for me to get my
quad kicked over, and I kind of hurt my back
a bit between my shoulders, so I started stiffening
up,” said Sanders.

Despite the get-offs, Sanders still rounded
out the top ten in the Production A class.
“This was the roughest track so far this year,
but it was still a good time. The fans along
the shore were awesome; they would cheer every
racer that came by and that’s a good feeling,”
said Sanders.
Round five of the 2015 WORCS series heads
to Sand Hollow in Hurricane, UT on April 17-19,
and Ty Sanders is hoping to be healed up and
ready to go for a WORCS podium finish.
