Pro Motorsports Wins at BITD UTV World Championship
Matt & Jeff Hancock Claim Second Straight win at Best in the Desert

BEST IN THE DESERT
UTV World Championship
Parker, AZ (2/25/2015) - Pro Motorsports’ Matt and Jeff Hancock teamed up once again and charged to their second straight Pro Quad win at round number two of the 2015 Best in the Desert UTV World Championship in Laughlin, NV.

Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock teamed up with is brother Jeff at round one of the BITD series and the pair took the win. That success spurred another pairing for round two in hopes of a repeat win. Dusty and rough conditions were on hand, but that didn’t stop the brothers from showing everyone that they mean business.

Matt Hancock started the race and grabbed the holeshot off the dead engine land rush start. Matt Hancock charged his way into the lead early in lap one, and held it for three laps before handing the Pro Motorsport’s Honda TRX450R over to his brother Jeff.

The high speed course allowed Jeff Hancock to keep a blistering pace but the rough conditions got the better of him. “I was supposed to race for three laps, but my hands went numb and I couldn’t hang on anymore after just two laps, so I handed the quad back over to Matt,” said Jeff Hancock.

Even with the rough and dusty conditions, Matt Hancock hung on to his lead for several laps before having Jeff take over for the final leg of the race for the win with a time of 2:22:40.283. This is the team’s second straight win in the BITD Pro Quad class, which extended their points lead in the championship race with three rounds of racing left in the season.

“This has been a great start to the season for us. It has been amazing to be able to team up with my brother and get back out here racing. This is our second win and we have the points lead which is really exciting. Pro Motorsports has built us a great machine and we are hoping to keep the winning streak going and maybe get that championship,” said Jeff Hancock.

The next round BITD race for quads is the Silver State 300 in May, which will give the Pro Motorsports Team plenty of time to prepare for the second longest race of the season as they go for the 2015 Best in the Desert Pro ATV Championship.
