Maxxis' Brycen Neal Big Buck GNCC Report
GNCC Racing Pro ATV Racer Brycen Neal Finishes Fourth

2015 GNCC Racing
Big Buck - Round 4

Bidwell, OH (4/16/2015) - The 2015 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, headed to Union, South Carolina for the 19th running of the "Big Buck" GNCC. The Maxxis/ B. Neal Motorsports machine was ready for a day that would prove to be fast paced, hot, and dusty.

Brycen Neal finished fourth in the GNCC Pro ATV Class at the Big Buck GNCC

As the green flag went up the B. Neal Motorsports Machine rocketed off the line and was able to get a 2nd place hole shot behind Adam McGill and run there most of the first lap. Neal would be just behind Mcgill and Fowler in the 3rd spot headed into lap 2.

"On the second lap Bithell got around me, and I hooked to his rear end and we battled for a majority of the 2 hour race which was a lot of fun" Neal recalled.

The South Carolina track was a little over 12 miles which made for long lap times and led to a 4 lap race. At the end of lap 2 most of the field elected to pit, Brycen’s pit crew got him in and out fast that allowed him to make a pass on Bithell for 3rd when his machine stalled coming out of his pit.

"Bithell and I traded passes for the 3rd spot a few times on the 3rd lap and it was a lot of fun" Brycen recalled.

Heading into the final lap Jarrod McClure hooked up with us on the battle and right before the white flag Neal would make the pass on Bithell. With 12 miles left to go Neal and now McClure would battle it out just like Brycen's dad Chris did 10 years ago at this same track when the two raced the stock class, he would best Jarrod that day, now 10 years later the roles have reversed.

"McClure got me, I saw the line on the inside a bit too late and couldn't get stopped to take it and he got the drive and passed me on the inside" Neal says.

For a couple more miles they would continue to battle it out but in the end the "old man" bested the "young gun" just like 10 years ago. The Maxxis B.Neal Motorsports Machine would cross the line with a 4th place.

"I'm extremely happy with how today's race went, we got a good start and stayed up there fighting all day long. We are coming out of here with another top 5 and still holding down 3rd spot in the overall championship chase" Brycen Neal said. Neal went on to say "we are going to keep our head down and keep pushing. Every race we learn something new and figure things out a little bit more and soon we are going to have all the pieces to the puzzle."

Brycen and the whole B. Neal Motosports crew want to take this opportunity to thank there sponsors that without them we couldn't be able to compete at the highest level of off-road ATV racing:
