Can-Am's Bryan Buckhannon Wins Big Buck GNCC
Bryan Buckhannon Takes GNCC Racing 4x4 Pro ATV Overall Win

Tough conditions were on hand at the Big Buck GNCC with a lot of dust in the open areas and tree roots in the woods. There were plenty of bottlenecks and backups, but Bryan Buckhannon was able to come out on top.

Defending GNCC Racing 4x4 Pro Champion, Bryan Buckhannon earned the win at the Big Bick GNCC

Buckhannon had a good start in the number two spot and stayed close to the leader. Buckhannon made his move shortly before the end of the first lap and took the lead. Buckhannon ran a fast pace and built a huge gap over the rest of the pack. “I felt really good out there. My Can-Am handled really well out there, it was more like a Sunday Drive. I ended up with a huge lead, but I had to play it safe and smart, so I still had a little left if needed. Winning races is good, but the championship is what it’s all about,” said Buckhannon.

Buckhannon kept his fast and steady pace for the entire race and crossed the finish line with the 4x4 Pro ATV win and third overall with a time of 2:01:50.500, which was over two minutes ahead of second place. “We really had a good race. It was good to get another win and get back in the points lead. We have been working really hard all season, and I can’t thank Can-Am, QuadBoss, Kenda, Bike Masters and all of my sponsors enough for all of their support. It’s been a great season so far and we want to keep moving forward from here,” said Buckhannon.

Unfortunately, Buckhannon’s luck didn’t hold out for the XC2 SxS class, where he encountered issues in the first lap, ending his day early. “It’s unfortunate, but it happens. We will just come back at the next round and do better,” he said.

In the Youth ranks, Bryan Buckhannon, also suffered a mechanical failure, which ended his charge early, and he hopes for better luck at the next round.

Round five of the 2015 GNCC series, the Limestone 100, on April 25th in Springfield, IN, where Bryan Buckhannon will be going for the win.
