For the ultimate power in
2-Up touring, the Arctic Cat
TRV 1000 XT EPS and 1000
Limited EPS deliver premium
features matched by the
strongest engine in its class.
Go-anywhere muscle comes
from its Arctic Cat H2 1000
V-Twin engine, whose torque
and power delivery is second
to none. Featuring the performance
and consistency
of Electronic Fuel Injection
and matched with the ease of
Duramatic Automatic transmission
featuring High, Low,
Reverse and Park convenience,
this TRV is ready for every possible
riding condition.
The Arctic Cat
TRV 1000 is built on
an extended chassis featuring
a two-passenger seat with
padded backrest, passenger
handles and extra footrests,
making 2-up riding comfortable
for both the driver and passenger.
A handlebar-mounted
front fairing adds comfort and
protection from the wind, while
a lockable touring case, mirrors
and driver/passenger hand
warmers add extra comfort and
convenience.
Extra ease comes into play
thanks to the Arctic Cat Variable
Assist Electronic Power
Steering (EPS). The system
delivers steering assistance
that begins at engine idle
and provides significantly
reduced steering effort when
in 4WD, especially when the
differential lock is engaged.
The variable assist system is
driven by an electronic control
unit (ECU) that factors steering
input force, tire resistance and vehicle speed to provide
the appropriate assist to the
steering column via an electric
motor.
The result is a light
steering input effort, but with
enough feedback so the rider
senses the tire contact patch in
relation to the terrain.
Other premium features
include hydraulic disc brakes,
12-in. aluminum wheels, zeromaintenance
suspension bushings,
sealed drive shafts, a large
5.3-gallon fuel tank and durable,
full-length plastic skid plate.
The Arctic Cat
TRV 1000 XT comes in either Navy
Blue or Sunset Orange automotive-
style painted bodywork
and includes a 3,000-lb. winch.
The Limited model features
additional premium items, including
the 2-piece fairing with
windscreen, lockable touring
case, and hand warmers. |
